Meet the O’Neals

The heart behind our Farm-raised Beef


We are TJ and Catie O’Neal, both born and raised in Greene County, who became high school sweethearts in 2001.  Catie’s roots run deep – she is the fifth generation of her family to call this land home.  TJ has been involved with agriculture since he was a kid.  He has spent most of his career working with other farmers to improve their operations while conserving the natural resources of the land.

After college (three degrees for Dr. Catie and only one for Mr. TJ), they were married in 2009 and returned home to the family farm soon after.  While raising two young girls and working full time jobs, TJ helped Catie’s dad, Kent Walker, around the farm as time permitted and also started a small herd of cows himself.

As time passed and the kids became more involved, TJ was able to expand his herd and take on a larger role at the farm.  After regular requests from people in the Lake Oconee area for locally raised beef, we developed a plan for raising and finishing a few calves each year.  We processed our first three calves in 2022 and have steadily increased that number each year due to growing demand and excellent reviews from customers.

We take extreme pride in the land and the cattle that we raise here, with the ultimate goal of providing locally grown, all natural, premium beef to the community.
